WELCOME TO THE ACO
The Amsterdam Community Orchestra was founded in 2019 when our founder, Ross Adami, moved to the beautiful city of Amsterdam and looked to join a musical ensemble as a way of meeting new people and forming a sense of community. After discovering that in order to do so, he needed to devote hours of time towards practices, rehearsals and performances - he decided to start his own.
Today, the orchestra hosts an annual season each year, consisting of about 6-8 rehearsals, followed by a season concert. We're a group of about 30 musicians from over 10 different nationalities who come together to rehearse, share a drink and connect over our shared love for orchestral music. No rehearsals - all musicians are welcome.
